Canvas
Ask in plain words and the words, the photo and the design change together. Switch to the Designer to decorate the picture by hand, and when you come back meok writes the words for it.
Open a post in Canvas
Open a post from its Edit in Canvas button, or open Canvas and it picks up the last post you worked on. The Create | Designer switch in the top bar changes the mode. Create has three parts: the Chat to ask Meok, the words and the photo in the middle, and the Preview that shows the post as the channel will show it. In a narrow window the three become tabs. The Designer is where you decorate the picture, and Done brings you back to Create.
The Designer: move, resize, type
Click text or a shape in the picture to pick it, and drag to move it. Drag a corner to resize. Click picked text once more, or Type in the bar above, to type straight into it; `Esc` finishes. With text picked, the bar above changes its font, size, colour, Bold and alignment, and the bin or `Delete` removes it. The six tools on the left add things. Elements are shapes (square, circle, triangle, rounded square, star, arrow) and lines (solid, dashed, dotted). Text is a text box and the two brand fonts, heading and body: with text picked a font card switches its font, with nothing picked it adds a new text box in that font. Branding has the colours (they colour the picked layer), your logos and graphics (a “New” badge, a wheat ear, an arch). Upload puts a photo of yours in as a new layer and lists what you uploaded. Pick a photo layer and Remove background appears in the bar above: it reads the picture's edge as the background and keeps the subject. It works well on a plain background (a product, a person, a plate) and says so when the edge is too busy. Layers lists every layer with its picture, its name and an eye, and lifts the picture apart, one layer above the other, while it is open. Images searches the images you have by their descriptions: a click adds one as a layer, the small frame button makes it the background. Undo at the top, or `Ctrl`+`Z`, goes back one step at a time.
Size and look
With nothing picked, the bar over the picture chooses a size (portrait, square, story, wide, link), shown with its pixels, and beside it a look (paper, ink, wash or photo). Each change is one step you can undo.
Work with the photo
Double-click the photo in the picture to drag it inside its frame and zoom with the wheel. `Enter` or `Esc` finishes. Under Photo on the right, Choose photo picks from the photos you have, and Make a photo uses one of your 20 images a month. When a photo is small for the size you chose, Export asks once before it goes ahead.
Guides and what gets cut
Press `G` to see the safe margins, the centre lines and the bands a screen covers. If text would be cut on a channel, a note above the Words says so, and Show the guide shows that channel's crop. Guides never appear in the exported picture.
Carousels
A carousel opens with one slide for each photo, in a strip under the picture. Click a slide to edit it exactly like a single post. Add a slide takes one of your photos, an upload or a blank slide, and you drag a slide, or press `Shift` and an arrow key, to change the order. Duplicate and remove sit above the strip, and a removed slide comes back with Undo. With nothing selected, `[` and `]`, or `PageUp` and `PageDown`, move between slides. A carousel holds up to 10 slides, and the photo order follows the slide order.
Ask in the chat
Type what you want in the chat: “make the title bigger”, “a warmer photo”. Ask for a new photo and it is made and put in right away. The answer is applied as one step, so a single undo reverses it. Come back from the Designer with a changed picture and meok asks once by itself, writing the words for it. With a layer selected in the Designer, your request is about that layer.
Checks stay on
When a post needs a look, the reason shows under the top bar and Approve waits until it is fixed. Moving and resizing never change it, but editing words checks them again. A claim Meok could not verify stays flagged until the words behind it are gone.
Saved, and Export
Changes save on their own, and the status line says Saved with the time. Export downloads or copies the image and copies the caption. The “Also export as …” entries in the menu crop a square or a wide picture around the photo's focus, and “Export for …” makes the right size for Instagram feed or story, LinkedIn or X in one click. “Download all … posts (.zip)” bundles every post's picture into one file, and on a carousel “Download all … slides (.zip)” bundles its slides, numbered in order. For TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, open the post and press Post; for other channels, download it and upload it yourself.
Posts already scheduled or published open read-only, carousels included.
