Getting started

From your link to your first month of posts.

  1. Paste your link

On the start page, paste the link to your shop, site or app and press Start. Meok reads what is public: text, photos, menus.

You can also start from the link box on the home page.
  2. No link? Tell Meok about yourself

Under the link box, choose Tell us about yourself. Pick what you are, then add up to 10 files or paste some text. Photos and PDFs can be up to 10 MB, videos up to 14 MB. One of the two is enough.

  3. Watch it read

A card at the bottom shows the step Meok is really on: looking at your brand, finding photos and mood, building your voice, planning, writing. The bar is counted from the real steps.

If your link cannot be read, Meok says so and lets you start again with another link or with the form.
  4. Answer a few questions

While the posts are written, Meok asks about you (your role, team size, how much you posted last month, how comfortable you are) and about the posts: how often, which channels, emoji, tone and register.

Where a question offers You decide, that is a fine answer. Your answers shape the posts and can be changed later.
  5. Add your own photos

Meok uses your real photos first. When it asks, upload some from your phone or choose Later. It also asks whether the photos it found on your site may be used in posts.

  6. Try the swipe on practice cards

A few practice cards teach the moves: swipe right to approve, tap the words to edit, tap the picture to change it, swipe left to toss a card. Nothing you do on them is saved.

  7. Look at your first 3 posts

When your first 10 posts are ready, the first 3 of them are open to look at. You can refine their words by talking to them, up to 10 times a day; changing a picture needs the free beta. The rest stay blurred until you open it.

  8. Open the free beta

Press the open button and continue with your Google account. Your brand attaches to the account and you land on Today. The free beta covers 1 brand, up to 50 posts and 20 images a month, and pricing is announced before launch.

The posts and images you have used this month are shown in the account menu.
